Today I will be talking with you guys about my grade 8 portfolio. The things that I will be showing you are my math, social studies, language arts, and science. Throughout the year, my class room did some booklets on mesopotamia, egypt, percents, fractions, cro-magnon's, and different definitions. The two things that I am very good at are EXPLORE response and making definition cards. The two things that I do not enjoy doing is making a 2 minutes to make a difference movie and researching the information.

Here are some questions..
Term 1 Reflection
In the first term I enjoyed what I learned, finding the rate, ratio, and the proportion was really fun. The other thing I learned is how to find the hypotenuse and the length of the leg. I sometimes do my homework because I sometimes get stuck on the questions and I sometimes forget to bring it. My goal for this year is to do my homework and do really good on my test or quiz’s. I want to learn about integers because that is my favorite subject. I like how Mr. Harbeck lets us make videos about what we learned. I really want to increase my grades into the 90’s.
Proportion

This term two I really enjoyed it because I finally understand h to find the surface area and the volume. I struggled on trying to figure out which is which. One day I thought the test was about volume but really it was about surface area. I want to improve on getting my test higher and doing my homework. The other thing I want to improve on is doing my blog post because on my report card it said to do better on my blog work. By achieving this goal I will go on the blog every day and check.
